On March 19th, the fifth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, Dick Cheney was interviewed by ABC News. When reminded by the reporter that a full 2/3 of Americans still don't think the war was worth fighting, Dick Cheney flatly responded, "So?"
He and the rest of his war profiteer buddies just don't get it. Who cares what the American people think? Yeah, we're only shoveling $5,000 a SECOND into the deep, dark pit that is the Iraq war. Our service men and women have done a superb job of upholding their duties and performing their mission, but our leaders have failed them. We went in without a plan, did not heed the warnings, did not find any WMDs...and on and on.
It's time to get out, Dick, and I'm one of those who thought from the very beginning that this war was misguided and tragic.
