Proving it's not over until "it's over," Hillary Clinton pulled off a stunning victory, against all odds, defying pollster and pundit (yours truly included).
As I listened to the concession speeches of Obama and Edwards, and to Hillary's victory speech, I marveled at the spirit of democratic unity exhibited in every instance. I searched the faces of the joyous supporters in every packed room, and they responded to the same themes.

This is a battle for the soul of America. Who we are as a people will be determined in the weeks and months to come. Yes, it is a contest between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. No question about that. All the other candidates might as well be wallpaper.
The republicans are trying to decide between a 71-year old Washinton insider and a Baptist preacher who cooks squirrels in a popcorn popper. Gimme a break!
Tomorrow, if I was Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson, I would call a joint press conference and quit together.
